June 2010 Token Payments

Sorry, this is long overdue! I made token payments last June 25, 2010 as follows:

I can only hope that the change in government administration will make businesses more optimistic and start hiring at senior levels again. Until then, thank you for being patient.

May 2010 Token Payments

I was able to make another round of token payments last Thursday, May 20, 2010. I know I missed making payments last month of April 2010. I'm sorry about that, but my father's trading business relies 100% on commissions from sales and last month was just a very low commissions month. He just wasn't able to pay me much.

These are still just token payments, but I'm afraid I have nothing more to give right now. I continue to look for regular employment; I can't give up on that. I will let you know as soon as I get anything because that should mean I can bring the monthly payments back to the right amounts. Then the only problems will be the arrears. Patience, patience. I will finish all this for sure.

I'm still mostly helping my father in his trading business, but I continue to seek new employment. It's the only way I see right now to get out of this hole I'm in. There have been very few invitation s for interview lately, but some have shown a little hope.

I just try to keep going in as straight a line as possible. Thanks for your patience and you'll all be the first to know as soon as things improve! (well, maybe second -after my wife =D )

January 28, 2010 Token Payments

Belated Happy New Year and "Kung Hei Fat Choi" everyone!

Pardon the long silence. I am focusing more now on helping my father - the market for regular employment jobs seems weak right now, so I am placing almost zero hope in that area. Better to do what I can do now, than worry about what I could or could not be doing 'di ba?

Unfortunately that still means a very low income for me until I can find my own customers. Please bear with this "token payments" situation for a while longer.

Made some token payments!

Welcome back! As mentioned in the last post, I made "token payments" to each of you creditors. The percentage of these payments vs. the regular monthly amount is about 10%.

Sorry but these are really token payments - what I can afford at this time, para lang masabi natin gumalaw yung account (just to be able to say that the account did move).

Working On Partial Payments

I wanted all of my creditors to know that I'm going to make partial payments on each of my loans soon.

This came about from my discussion with the UMC collector who calls me regularly. She suggested I make a partial payment "para lang gumalaw ang account". I thought about that and I decided that I want to do that!

But to be fair, if I do it for one I should do it for all. Kaya ayun - I'll borrow a little money from somewhere to make those partial payments to my creditors. It won't be large okay?! but I hope you appreciate this effort I'm making!
